2026 5th International Conference on Materials Engineering and Applied Mechanics (ICMEAAE 2026), hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University, organized by Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, co-organized by Advanced Electronic Packaging Materials and Structures Research Center, Northwestern Polytechnical University. This conference brought together experts and scholars from many universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, such as China, Canadian, Italian, Malaysian, Thailand, etc., and conducted in-depth exchanges around the frontier issues in the field of materials engineering and applied mechanics, thus building a high-level international exchange platform for the innovation and development of disciplines and the transformation of industrial green intelligence.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Long Xu of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Professor Li Dong, Dean of the School of Mechanics and Transportation Engineering of Northwestern Polytechnical University, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer. Dean Li briefly introduced the historical evolution, discipline advantages and faculty of the college, and emphasized the importance of materials engineering and applied mechanics in today's scientific and technological development, hoping to inspire new inspiration and promote the development of the industry through this conference.

The conference also set up two parallel sub-sessions, "Functional Materials and Engineering Applications" and "Mechanics of Materials and Numerical Simulation". Awards Ceremony
In recognition of outstanding experts and scholars in the conference, three outstanding paper awards, four outstanding oral reports awards and three outstanding poster awards were awarded after selection, which further stimulated the participants' enthusiasm for scientific research and innovation, and played a positive role in promoting the development of the discipline.
